Dad didn’t like Glen Ellyn, so he joined the Navy.” Dorset’s 1960 obit says 1904. Alexander’s 1926 obit says Spring 1905. The first recorded (Warranty) Deed for grantee Alexander Spears, for 482 Taylor (corner of Duane & Taylor), is dated 4 May 1905. Robert Spears died 27 May 1905 in Chicago.
